Il Partito per gli Animali tedesco ottiene più voti nelle elezioni

Partei Mensch Umwelt Tierschutz (abbreviato: Tierschutzpartei), il Partito per gli Animali tedesco ha ottenuto ottimi risultati alle elezioni del Bundestag del 24 settembre 2017. Il partito ha partecipato in 10 Länder tedeschi.

In totale, il partito ha ottenuto 373.278 voti, la maggior parte dei quali nella Germania orientale. Questo vuole dire quasi 19.000 voti in più rispetto alle precedenti elezioni del Bundestag nel 2013. Di conseguenza, il Tierschutzpartei non ha potuto ottenere un seggio perché la Germania conosce una soglia di sbarramento elevata (5%). Ciò significa che partitiche ottengono meno del 5% dei voti (la soglia di sbarramento), non avranno nessuno seggio nel Bundestag.

Il Tierschutzpartei è contento con i risultati delle elezioni e pensa che i risultati promettono bene per le elezioni per il parlamento europeo che si svolgeranno a giugno 2019. Il Tierschutzpartei aspetta di poter ottenere più seggi perché l’UE non ha alcuna soglia di sbarramento.

German party for the animals Partei Mensch Umwelt Tierschutz (Tierschutzpartei in short) has made gains in the German elections of 24 September 2017. The party participated in ten German states.

The party gained a total of 373,278 votes, mainly cast in Eastern Germany, which is nearly 19,000 votes more than in the last elections in 2013. The number of votes was not enough to gain the Tierschutzpartei a seat, as Germany has a high electoral threshold of 5%. This means that parties that gain less than 5% of the seats (the electoral threshold) will win no seats in the Bundestag.

The Tierschutzpartei is happy with the election results and finds them very promising for the elections to the European Parliament in June 2019, during which it expects to win several seats, as the EU has no electoral threshold.
