İngiltere Hayvanları Koruma Partisi AWP, 8 haziran seçimlerine Maidenhead, Hackney North & Stoke Newington, Hackney South & Shoreditch ve Lewisham Deptford olmak üzere 4 bölgeden 4 adayla katılıyor. Gereken maddi destek birkaç gün içerisinde ve sadece parti üyeleri ve parti yandaşlarından sağlandı. Prof. Andrew Knight, Jon Homan, Laura McAnea ve Parti Lideri Vanessa Hudson partinin adayları.

AWP insan, hayvan ve çevreye saygıyla yaklaşmaktan yana. AWP politik alanda, birkaç kişinin kısa vadeli çıkarlarının değil zayıfların korunduğu, insan ve gezegenin uzun vadeli refahına önem veren bir yöne kaymayı temsil ediyor.

AWP seçimler için el ilanı dağıtıyor

AWP’nin 2017 genel seçimleri ana ilkeleri şöyle:

  • Hayvan tacizcilerine daha fazla ceza verilmeli
  • Posukların telefine son verilmeli ve tilki avı yasağının feshi ile ilgili her türlü girişime karşı çıkılmalı
  • Evcil hayvanlar konusunda ırk ayrımına son verilmeli, hayvanları internetten veya mağazalardan satışına son verilmeli ve egzotik hayvan ticareti yasaklanmalı
  • Hayvanların refahını olumsuz yönde etkileyecek çiftçilik uygulamalarına yasak getirilmeli
  • Sağlıklı sebze bazlı yiyecek alışkanlıklarını öne çıkararak insan sağlığı iyileştirilmeli ve bu sayede çevre korunmalı
  • Bağlayıcı hedefler koymak suretiyle hayvanlar üzerinde yapılan deneylere son verilmeli ve alternatiflere finansman ve gerçek destek sağlanmalı
  • Tüm mezbahalara kapalı devre televizyon sistemi zorunlu olmalı
  • Canlı hayvan ihracatına son verilmeli ve hayvanı önceden sersemletmeden yapılan tüm kesimler yasaklanmalı
  • Brexit’e karşıyız. Tam çıkış gerçekleşmeden onay referandumu yapılmalı.

UK’s Animal Welfare Party (AWP) has 4 candidates standing in the June 8th General Election in the following constituencies: Maidenhead, Hackney North & Stoke Newington, Hackney South & Shoreditch and Lewisham Deptford. The deposits for these constituencies have been entirely funded by members and supporters. The party has managed to raise the funds for these deposits in only a matter of days. The four candidates are Professor Andrew Knight, Jon Homan, Laura McAnea and the leader of the party Vanessa Hudson.

AWP believes in treating people, animals, and the environment with respect. AWP represents a shift in political thinking and action, away from the short-term interests of the few, to one in which the interests of the weakest are protected, along with what is truly for the long-term good of people and our planet.

AWP’s key policies for the 2017 General Election are:

  • Increase penalties for those convicted of animal abuse.
  • End the badger cull and oppose any repeal of the fox hunting ban.
  • Strengthen companion animal welfare with an end to breed specific legislation, the sale of animals online and in retail stores and the exotic pet trade.
  • Phase out farming practices and systems with poor welfare consequences for animals.
  • Improve human health, protect the environment and global food security by promoting healthy plant-based diets.
  • Phase out animal experimentation with binding targets for reduction combined with proper funding & real support for alternatives.
  • Introduce independently monitored CCTV for all slaughterhouses.
  • End live animal export and all slaughter without prior stunning.
  • Oppose hard Brexit. Support a ratification referendum on the final exit deal.
